Each replacement carpet is heat molded to your Chevy Bel Air's specific floor pan for the correct original fit.  In some classic models, your new replacement Belair carpet may also be available in the original style cut and sewn carpet which also is designed to fit your Chevy Bel Air's specific floor pan just like the carpet that came from the factory.  Also included, each replacement carpet has a heel pad that is sealed onto the carpet in the correct place under the brake and accelerator pedal, and a heavy 40 ounce jute pad is attached to the back of the carpet in the floor pan areas.
 

All of our carpet is manufactured to order and is not sitting in a box on a shelf. Carpet that is manufactured to order makes installation easier since the wrinkles acquired during shipping will then come out during the installation process.  Our carpet is manufactured and ships from the manufacturer generally within 24-48 hours after your order is received--whether you are special ordering your carpet color or backing or ordering the standard color for your carpet.
 

Mass backing is also available as a special order option for your Chevy Belair molded carpet, it is used for additional sound deadening.  Mass backing is ethylene vinyl acetate 40 ml thick that is molded onto the back of the carpet when it is manufactured.  It adds sound deadening and insulation qualities to the carpet and is available at an additional as a special order item.  **Please Note:  Mass backing can only be applied to carpets that are made in a mold, any of the older 1950's model year carpets that are the original cut and sewn style carpet cannot have mass backing applied since it is applied during the heat molding process. Mass backing can only be applied to molded carpets. Remember, special orders do not take any longer to ship out. Listed your convenience are our manufacturer's suggested carpet colors. Take time to look at them, compare them to your existing carpet or interior and see if you feel any of them will work for your vehicle.  It is always advised to get samples if you feel that these colors are not what you have in your vehicle.  We make every effort to make our online color sample pictures accurate, however, there is no way we can take into account the monitor that you are viewing those colors with or the way your monitor is set, so please remember, these are suggested colors only--the final color choice is up to you.
