Each 2002 carpet is custom crafted to your BMW 2002's specific floor pan for the correct original factory style fit.  Also included, each cut and sewn style carpet has a heel pad that is sealed onto the carpet in the correct place under the brake and accelerator pedal--molded style carpet does not have a heel pad--and a heavy 40 oz jute pad is attached to the back of the carpet in the floor pan areas. • Mass backing is also available as an upgrade used for sound deadening and heat shield.  Mass backing can only be applied to the molded style 2002 carpet, not the cut and sewn style, since it is bonded to the back of the carpet during the heat molding process.  Mass backing is ethylene vinyl acetate 40 ml thick that is molded onto the back of the carpet when it is manufactured.  It adds sound deadening and insulation qualities to the carpet and is available at an additional cost for your new 2002 carpet. We highly recommend the mass backing option as an upgrade to your new BMW carpet.

• You also have the option to upgrade our Super Ultra-Plush carpet with 40% more nylon fibers than our standard plush carpet. It is available as a special order item and at an additional cost. On special order items we do not make color recommendations. Please take time the to view our color samples, compare them to your existing carpet or interior and see if you feel any of them will work for your vehicle.  We make every effort to make our online color sample pictures accurate, however, there is no way we can take into account the monitor that you are viewing those colors with or the way your monitor is set and it is therefore impossible for the online color samples to be accurate for everyone viewing them.  You are strongly advised to get color samples prior to your purchase, especially on a special order item.
