and is used for additional sound deadening and heat shielding. Mass
backing is ethylene vinyl acetate 40 ml thick that is bonded onto the
back of the carpet at the time that it is manufactured. We highly
recommend the
mass backing option for your new
carpet. The mass backing upgrade is available at an additional cost, but does
not take any longer to ship out from the factory. You will also receive
heavy 40 ounce jute padding for the floor pan areas.

Carpet as a special order upgrade to our standard carpet at an
additional cost. It is always advised that you get color samples
prior to ordering a special order item since it is impossible to insure
that you are viewing the online color samples correctly due to the
monitor you are viewing the colors on and the way that monitor is set.
