This carpet is manufactured specifically to your Ford's floor pan for an original factory style fit.  On the 1950's vehicles the carpet is an original style cut and sewn style carpet which is designed to fit your Ford's specific floor pan just like the carpet that came from the factory. Each product is manufactured with the highest quality available in the aftermarket industry.  Also included with the molded carpet is a heel pad that is sealed onto the carpet in the correct place under the brake and accelerator pedal, and a heavy 40 ounce jute pad is attached to the back of the carpet in the floor pan areas.
   

• Mass backing is also available as an upgrade to your new carpet and is used for additional sound deadening and heat shielding. Mass backing is ethylene vinyl acetate 40 ml thick that is bonded onto the back of the carpet at the time that it is manufactured. Our customers love this upgrade for their new molded carpet and we highly recommend the mass backing option for your new molded carpet.  Mass backing is available at an additional cost, but does not take any longer to ship out from the factory. You will still receive our heavy jute padding for the floor pan areas. The mass backing option is only available for the molded style of carpeting and cannot be applied to the original "cut and sewn" style carpeting.
