Be assured that this carpet is the highest quality Ford Galaxie fastback carpet available in the aftermarket industry. Each Galaxie carpet is manufactured for an OEM fit specific to your new Ford Galaxie Fastback's floor pan.  Also included, each Galaxie fastback carpet has a heel pad that is sealed onto the carpet in the correct place under the brake and accelerator pedal, and a heavy 40 ounce jute pad is attached to the back of the carpet in the floor pan areas. You will also receive a dimmer switch grommet to install on applicable years.   All carpet material is manufactured in the USA by Dorsett Mills, the highest quality carpet in the aftermarket industry, but then we take it a step further, knowing that the molding is the most important part of the process.  All of our carpets are molded for us by world famous ACC Auto Custom Carpets.  Each mold is made with attention to detail to provide you with the correct fit for your Galaxie--specific to it's year, make and model.  The product is made by applying heat and vacuum to help conform the carpet to it's proper shape and then it is allowed to sit in the mold to cool so that it retains it's shape during shipping.  You are assured of an OEM factory style fit. Our carpets are manufactured from start to finish in the USA!   Fast factory direct shipping, most Ford Galaxie replacement carpets ship out in 24-48 hours after your order is received Most of our carpets are in our customer's hands within 7 days or less (depending upon what part of the country you are located).   Molded or cut & sewn to correctly fit your Ford Galaxie's floor pan, specific to it's year and model   Mass backing is also available as an upgrade for your new molded style carpeting and is used for additional sound deadening for your molded Ford Galaxie replacement carpet.  (Sorry, mass backing cannot be applied to any original style "cut & sewn" Galaxie carpet since it must be applied during the heat molding process.) Mass backing is ethylene vinyl acetate 40 ml thick that is molded onto the back of the replacement Galaxie carpet when it is manufactured.  It adds sound deadening and insulation qualities to the carpet and is available at an additional cost, but does not take any longer to ship. You will still receive heavy jute padding for the floor pan areas. To learn more about mass backing see our Mass Backing Info Page.   About "Flat Front" & "Foot Wells"---Some model years, only where indicated on our online price guide, are available with either the "foot wells" or "flat front". Each floor style, either the "flat front" or the "foot well" style is for the front row of seating only, the floor of the rear row of seating always has foot wells. How To Tell Which Floor Style That You Have--If when you slide into the driver's seat there is a depression of about 1" to 2" where you feet go down into, then you have the "foot wells".  But, if you slide your feet in on the driver's side and there is not a depression of any kind in the floor, just a flat area, no drop down for your feet, then you have the "flat front" style--remember the floor in the rear seating of both style vehicles has foot wells. If your particular year Galaxie does not ask for this information on our online Galaxie Fastback carpet price guide below, then you do not need this information to order a carpet for your particular year Galaxie.   Each Galaxie replacement carpet comes with attached heavy 40 ounce jute padding in the floor pan areas   Heel Pad that is attached in the correct place on your molded carpet   Matching binding on exposed areas not covered by trim or hidden under the firewall   For your convenience our manufacturer's suggested colors are listed below. Please take time the to look at them, compare them to your existing carpet or interior and see if you feel any of them will work for your vehicle.  It is always advised to get samples if you feel that these colors are not what you have in your vehicle.  We make every effort to make our online color sample pictures accurate, however, there is no way we can take into account the monitor that you are viewing those colors with or the way your monitor is set, so please remember, these are suggested colors only--the final color choice is up to you.  It is always suggested you get samples prior to your sale, whether you order a special order color or a suggested color.   Our manufacturer's suggested original colors are listed for your convenience or you may wish to choose a special order color.  **Please be advised, you may choose any color you wish, however, if you choose colors from the "other special order colors" category, your carpet will be non-returnable and non-exchangeable since the color is not considered by the manufacturer to be original to your specific year Galaxie and is not resalable.   Our sales representatives are knowledgeable and ready to assist you.
