• Be assured that this carpet is the highest quality pre-molded Honda Prelude carpet available in the aftermarket industry from ACC, Auto Custom Carpets with 30 years experience.  Also included with your new pre-molded Prelude replacement carpet: each has a heel pad that is sealed onto the carpet in the correct place under the brake and accelerator pedal, and a heavy 40 ounce pad is attached to the back of the carpet in the floor pan areas.
   

• Mass backing is also available as a special order option used for sound deadening.  Mass backing is ethylene vinyl acetate 40 ml thick that is molded onto the back of the carpet when it is manufactured.  It adds sound deadening and insulation qualities to the carpet and is available at an additional cost on most carpets.  Remember, special orders do not take any longer to ship out. 
  Mass backing can only be applied to products that are actually molded.  If your vehicle has a die cut cargo/hatch area, mass backing will not be applied to that particular part since it is bonded to the back of the carpet with heat during the molding process, however, it would be applied to the back of the molded passenger compartment.

• We also offer Essex Super Ultra-Plush Carpet as a special order upgrade to our standard plush carpet at an additional cost.  It is always advised that you get color samples prior to ordering a special order item since it is impossible to insure that you are viewing the online color samples correctly due to the monitor you are viewing the colors on and the way that monitor is set. You may also add the mass backing option to your new Ultra-Plush carpet.
