• Be assured that this product is the highest quality aftermarket molded carpet and molded vinyl available in the industry from ACC, Auto Custom Carpets, who is the leading manufacturer with the largest color selection and over 30 of experience. Each carpet or vinyl is heat molded in a mold made from the Jeep CJ7's floor pan, specific to it's year.  Also included, each carpet has a heel pad (vinyl does not need a heel pad) that is sealed onto the carpet in the correct place under the brake and accelerator pedal, and a heavy 40 ounce jute pad is attached to the back of the carpet in the floor pan areas. Vinyl floor covering has the same padding as the carpet included for you to lay down, but the padding will not be glued to it due to the release agent used in the molding process.
   

• Also available in rugged molded vinyl floor covering.  A tough alternative to the molded carpet that is approximately 1/8" thick with a pebble grain to keep you sure footed when getting in and out of your vehicle.  It is also molded to your Jeep CJ7's floor pan for a factory style molded fit.  For a floor covering that works or plays as hard as you do and is a snap to clean, choose the molded vinyl floor covering.  Molded vinyl floor covering is available in 4 rugged colors that do not crack or fade.

• Mass backing is also available as an upgrade for your new molded Jeep CJ7 carpet.  Mass backing is used for additional sound deadening and heat shielding.  Mass backing is ethylene vinyl acetate 40 ml thick that is molded onto the back of the carpet when it is manufactured.  It adds sound deadening and insulation qualities to the carpet and is available at an additional cost, but does not take any longer to ship.  You can read more about the mass backing upgrade on our mass backing info page. 
  Mass backing can only be applied to products that are actually molded.  If you are purchasing a complete set for your CJ7, some parts are die cut to fit your vehicle and not molded and will not have mass backing on them since the mass backing is bonded to the back of the carpet during the heat molding process.
   

• All carpet material is manufactured in the USA by Dorsett Mills, the highest quality carpet in the aftermarket industry, but then we take it a step further, knowing that the molding is the most important part of the process.  All of our carpets are molded for us by world famous ACC Auto Custom Carpets.  Each mold is made with great attention to detail to provide you with the correct fit for your Jeep CJ7's floor pan--specific to it's year, make and model.  The product is made by applying heat and vacuum to help conform the carpet to it's proper shape and then it is allowed to sit in the mold to cool so that it retains it's shape during shipping.  You are assured of an OEM factory style fit, whether you order molded carpet or molded vinyl floor covering.
