Be assured that this carpet is the highest quality Mercury aftermarket carpet available in the industry from a manufacturer with the largest color selection and 30 years of experience. Each carpet is heat molded or, in the case of the 1960-1962 model years is manufactured in the original cut and sewn style to fit the floor pan of your Mercury Colony Park and Colony Park wagon's specific floor pan for the correct original fit. Also included, each has a heel pad that is sealed onto the carpet in the correct place under the brake and accelerator pedal, and a heavy 40 ounce jute pad is attached to the back of the carpet in the floor pan areas.

Don't get caught up in the hype of dealers who sell inferior products/brands that have never actually installed automotive carpet professionally. Be wary of the dealers whose only purpose is to sell you additional, and often unneeded products, at an additional cost. Our carpet is properly molded, and like your original OEM auto carpet, does not need to be glued to the floor. Read over our detailed installation instructions.
Mass backing is also available as an upgrade for your new molded carpet and is used for additional sound deadening and heat shielding. Mass backing is ethylene vinyl acetate 40 ml thick that is bonded onto the back of the carpet at the time that it is manufactured. Our customer's love this upgrade for their new molded carpet and we highly recommend it. The mass backing upgrade is available at an additional cost, but does not take any longer to ship. You will still receive the heavy jute padding for the floor pan areas. Mass backing cannot be applied to the original cut & sewn style carpet for 1960-1962 since it is applied during the heat molding process.
