• Mass backing is also available as a special order option for your Mitsubishi Montero carpet, it is used for additional sound deadening.  Mass backing is ethylene vinyl acetate 40 ml thick that is molded onto the back of the carpet when it is manufactured.  It adds sound deadening and insulation qualities to the carpet and is available at an additional cost on most carpets.  Remember, special orders do not take any longer to ship out.  Mass backing cannot be applied to molded vinyl floor covering.
  Mass backing can only be applied to products that are actually molded.  If your vehicle has a die cut cargo/hatch area, mass backing will not be applied to that particular part since it is bonded to the back of the carpet with heat during the molding process, however, it would be applied to the back of the molded passenger compartment.  You will also receive enough jute padding to cover the floor pan areas of the passenger compartment.
   

• For your convenience our manufacturer's suggested colors are listed below. Please take time the to look at them, compare them to your existing carpet or interior and see if you feel any of them will work for your vehicle.  It is always advised to get samples if you feel that these colors are not what you have in your vehicle.  We make every effort to make our online color sample pictures accurate, however, there is no way we can take into account the monitor that you are viewing those colors with or the way your monitor is set, so please remember, these are suggested colors only--the final color choice is up to you.
   
• Our manufacturer, ACC Auto Custom Carpet's suggested original colors are listed for your convenience or you may wish to choose a **special order color or option. 
  **Please be advised, you may choose any color you wish, however, all special order colors and/or mass backing option (colors that are not listed as "Manufacturer's Suggested Original Colors", Xtreme colors, Ultra-Plush Carpet and any carpet, regardless of the color, that have mass backing applied) are non-returnable and not exchangeable since they are not original your particular year Mitsubishi Montero and are not resalable.  Also be advised that by ordering a special order color for your vehicle, it may not match your existing interior color.  It is always advised that you send a color sample for us to match before the sale if you are ordering a special order color for your vehicle.
