• Mass backing is also available as a special order option used for sound deadening for your Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais Carpet.  Mass backing is ethylene vinyl acetate 40 ml thick that is molded onto the back of the carpet when it is manufactured.  It adds sound additional deadening and insulation qualities to the carpet and is available at an additional cost on your new  Calais carpet.  Remember, special orders do not take any longer to ship out.
